Losing weight, what is it all about? Well in my opinion losing weight is about fixing or correcting your mistakes because obviously you did something wrong that made your body the way it is, and it is not healthy. How do you fix it? By making sure you don't do that which you did wrong, ever again.
Well what did you do wrong? Well if a person is overweight it can mean a couple of things, you don't have to be a mind reader or anything like that, you just have to know how the human body works, it really is a matter of science.
If a person is fat it means that one, that person might have a health problem, perhaps something related to the thyroid gland, which is what caused the unhealthy weight gain but in me personal experience this is a rare case, most people belong into the other categories, which brings me to two, the person is very inactive, sedentary, spends a lot of time sitting down, not even walking that much because of reasons, maybe again it could be a health problems or maybe the person is just lazy or sometimes people lack motivation and discipline, usually it's the second.
Now we go on to the third thing on the list, the person eats more than he or she needs, than his or her body needs and also, eats unhealthy, fat rich foods, which means a lot of fat gets stored because of the second thing, being inactive and not burning that fat. These three factors are at the core of weight gain and weight loss, weight management and out of the three I would say that by far the most impactful one is nutrition because even if you are inactive, you won't get fat because of that, you get fat because of what you eat and don't burn, you can actually lose weight just by making changes in your diet, no need to be active but the reason being active is so important is because it's so healthy for your whole body and for the mind, the brain and because it helps burn fat which helps tremendously with losing weight and managing your weight.
So what do you need to do in order to efficiently lose weight? Well first of all stop being lazy, you know it's not easy, you will have to work for it so bring on your motivation, step up your game, make lifestyle changes, eat healthier food and spend some time each day being active, even if it's 15 minutes, it will make the difference and if possible, make it intense, don't just go walking in the park for a few minutes. Walking actually burns energy but, yeah, it's walking so in the end it won't be so efficient.
